If you also struggle with dark underarms, give this post a read. I’ve tried using lemon in the past to somehow see if it will help lighten my underarms but it only burned. Also, don’t use lemon on your skin guys, it’s not good. Lemon is super acidic and can permanently damage your skin. Read more about it here.
So, I’ve been using the Bioderma Pigmentbio Foaming Cream for about two months and I’m ready to share my results with you!
What is it?
What are the Benefits?
According to Bioderma, the Bioderma Pigmentbio Foaming Cream can:
- Reduce dark spots
- Prevent the appearance of new spots
- Cleanses and eliminates imperfections to help brighten your complexion
- Hydrates your skin and makes it soft
Why did I Start Using Bioderma Pigmentbio?
About two years ago I noticed my underarms were dark. I’ve never struggled with the issue before (if I did, I haven’t noticed) and although there’s nothing wrong with dark underarms, it makes me self-conscious.
I’ve searched online for products or DIY treatments and didn’t want to use lemon as it burns my skin. That’s when I found this foaming cream at Clicks. I purchased the foaming cream as well as the Bioderma Pigmentbio Sensitive Areas lotion.
What Causes Dark Underarms?
Most common areas affected include:
- Back of the neck
- Inner thighs
Other causes include shaving, deodorant, friction, dead skin cell accumulation, etc. Read about the rest here.
How Does It Work?
Apply the foaming cream to wet skin, lather, and rinse thoroughly.
According to the product, it can also be used as a face mask once or twice a week.
Look and Feel
The foaming cream is a white, thin liquid with super small “beads” that help exfoliate your skin.
It is super gentle so the beads didn’t irritate my underarms.
Unfortunately, after using the Bioderma Pigmentbio Foaming Cream (and the Bioderma Pigmentbio Sensitive Areas lotion) for two months, I don’t see a difference.
However, this product is a great exfoliator for underarms because it’s so gentle.
