I’ve been wanting to write a review on the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Correct & Perfect CC Cream for a while now and I’m finally doing it.

The reason I’ve been wanting to write this post is because I don’t think I’ve ever disliked a product as much as this one…

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Correct & Perfect CC Cream

A while ago (before my skin got bad again) I was only struggling with a pimple here and there. So instead of smothering my face with foundation, I opted for a light cc cream to just add a little bit of coverage.

So I went to Clicks and saw this cc cream from Neutrogena. According to the product it “instantly covers spots and breakout marks while helping correct them”. Okay, so I thought WOW, it covers spots AND works on correcting them. Killer combo. So I bought it.

How It’s on my Skin

Below is how the product looks (it’s texture) right out of the bottle.

Below is how the product looks after it has been “blended” or smeared on my skin.

The two main things I didn’t like about the product is how it looked patchy and how semi-sticky it felt on my face. I would put it on in the morning, after driving and hour and a half to work, I’d look in the mirror and it would look blotchy, patchy and like I just applied it to some areas of my face.

The product also states ” Day after day, skin is clinically proven to become clearer and healthier-looking, even without makeup!”. It actually felt more like my skin was breaking out after applying this…But I’m not suprised after learning later on that it contains Dimethicone. Accordinfg to annmariegianni.com, “Those prone to acne or with oily skin are more likely to see increased blackheads and breakouts when using products containing this ingredient.

So there you have it, I feel the product is patchy on my skin and very sticky. It also doesn’t last and I had to reapply almost every two hours. But as always, everyone’s skin differs and there’s most likely people out there who absolutely loves this product.

Have you used this product before? What are your thoughts on it?

Lots of love,
