So this weekend didn’t go as planned and I ended up not eating the dishes for day 5 and 6, and Sunday was also a free-eating day. So today where I was supposed to start week 2’s food, I am finishing day 5 and 6 instead.


I know I haven’t eaten the right food for 6 days in a row but since it’s the start of a new week, I thought I’d share my progress so far:

Weight: I’ve lost 1.7kg
Hips: I’ve lost 0.5 cmΒ 

I’m not too focused on the other metrics for this meal plan as my main concern is losing weight in general and around my hips. So it’s going good so far πŸ™‚


I had Futurelife breakfast around 10h00/10h30 so nothing new here.Β 


Frozen - It didn't get a sleeve, not sure why

Today’s lunch meal was: Homestyle Cautage Pie with carrots and peas.

For some reason, this didn’t include a sleeve but I guess it doesn’t matter too much, just odd.

However, this was AMAZING! I loved having this for lunch as it was super tasty and kept me full for long. And luckily, it wasn’t watery, it was perfect πŸ™‚

What’s in the tasty mince mixture:

  • Lean beef mince
  • Tomatoes
  • Carrots
  • Apple
  • Onion
  • Vegetable oil
  • Kalahari salt
  • Garlic
  • Smoked paprika
  • Thyme
  • Oregano
  • Black pepper

Afternoon Snack

Today’s snack was: Chicken Snacker – Lightly Salted

Today’s chicken tasted good but instead of adding a bit of mayo, I added jalapeno sweet chilli which tasted amazing. I tried not adding too much, just a bit for taste.



Today’s dinner was: Ostrich Potjie with mixed veggies.

Another ostrich potjie dish and this went better than the previous ones, however, the veggies were very watery. (especially the spinach). But so far the meat tasted great. I think I’ve also become used to the taste of ostrich.Β 


Day 5 went great! The only watery food was the veggies with the ostrich potjie. My favourite meal was the cottage pie and I’m stoked to have three of them left to enjoy πŸ™‚
