Hey Sweaties! 

I recently have been using / used some of the Mario Badescu brand’s products. I only ordered the facial spray, anti acne serum and drying lotion. The gel moisturizer and face wash I got as samples.

Let me give you my thoughts on each product:

Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber & Green Tea

According to the Mario Badescu website:

• it’s a cooling facial mist
• it’s infused with nutrient-rich botanicals
• it hydrates, tones, and re-energizes

All of those are true for me except the “tones” part. I got this spray because I wanted something to refresh my face with during the day as well as help with the redness of my face. Now I must say this is a nice refresher especially when it gets hot but my face’s redness only reduced a little bit. I do like the spray because I still use it everyday.

I like to use this at about 3 PM because that’s when my skin starts looking a bit tired, red, oily, etc. so it really refreshes your skin. I also love the smell. You can really smell the green tea the most.

🌻 It’s good for: ALL skin

Drying Lotion

According to the Mario Badescu website:

• it helps dry up pesky problems overnight (TRUE)
• it features Salicylic Acid, Sulfur, and Calamine

I raved about this Drying Lotion in a previous post and I still LOVE it! It still dries out my massive, painful pimples overnight. So yes, this is still my top one.

🌻 It’s good for: ALL skin

Anti Acne Serum

According to the Mario Badescu website:

• it helps keep breakouts at bay
• it encourages clearer-looking skin
• it reduces pore congestion

So far this anti acne serum has helped a little bit with my acne. I don’t really see a difference in my pores. I only put this on my smaller breakouts and it works good enough for me. Also this contains Salicylic Acid and Thyme Extract which is good for acne obvi.

🌻 It’s good for: ACNE PRONE skin

Herbal Hydrating Serum

According to the Mario Badescu website:

• it’s lightweight, oil-free gel (TRUE)
• it hydrates and softens skin (SOFTENS YES)
• it gives skin a healthy, dewy glow (I’M OILY SO LOL)

I didn’t really like this “hydrating serum”. It kind of felt more like a gel. The only thing I liked about it is it didn’t feel greasy. I have really oily skin but I felt this serum didn’t really hydrate my face. I know everyone’s skin is different so maybe it works for others but for me it’s a no. I think if you have normal skin it would work best. I’m also glad about the fact that this didn’t break me out as some serums had done in the past. ☺️

Acne Facial Cleanser

According to the Mario Badescu website:

• it’s a clarifying face wash
• it’s formulated with Salicylic Acid
• it deep cleans acne-prone skin

Okay, this cleanser wasn’t bad. I say that because it didn’t break me out at all yet it didn’t really help with my acne. It kinda stayed the same? I like to add this was really gentle. Most cleansers dry out my skin but this one was good on that level. It’s for combination skin (I think mine is) so I guess it’s good that it was gently. It also had a very pleasant smell, which is good. 🤗

🌻 It’s good for: COMBINATION, OILY, PROBLEM skin

So the only products I’d repurchase is the facial spray and the drying lotion. They worked the best for me! Also they’re good for sensitive skin (mine 😖) so yeah go test it out!
